Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire, a quiet community located in the West Island of Montreal is one of those "sleepy" place. This part of Montreal is known as the West Island has a lot of diverse communities. People who have never known about it may think it is a separate island facing west. Amanda Brugel grew up on this island, and it is commonly known as the place where she was born. It is true that she stayed there for a short duration. Brugel grew in Courtice, just outside of Oshawa. In her early years she wanted to be professional performer, however an unexpected increase in her height made it difficult. In 2000 she earned her BA in Fine Arts at York University. Over the past 20 years, her roles on TV and the big screen have been numerous. The role of Rita from the award-winning show The Handmaid's Tale was her most famous. Brugel played the role of Rita in The Handmaid's Tale, a series that was filmed over ten years ago.
